Lecture Summary

In this lecture, Dr. Doug Cobos provides an introduction to units of measurement, unit conversion, and temperature in the environment. The bulk of the lecture is spent talking about temperature, especially air temperature and heat transfer processes from the surface to the atmosphere and transport within the atmosphere. Simple models describing air temperature profiles are discussed.

About the Lecturer

Dr. Cobos is Director of R&D at METER Group and an adjunct professor in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at Washington State University.
